Payment and Refund Policy

This policy explains how orders for the services of newsymph are confirmed and paid for, and how cancellations and refunds are handled. The prices of our services are published on this website; nothing is bought or paid for on the site itself.

Quotations and confirmation of an order

The prices of our services are those published on this website on the day of your enquiry. To order, write to us at hello@newsymph.net or call 01904 797 0226; we reply with a written confirmation of the service, its price and the date. The order becomes binding once you accept that confirmation, and the invoice follows.

Paying invoices

Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date unless a different term is agreed in writing, and we accept bank transfer as well as the other methods stated on the invoice. For larger jobs an advance payment or payment in instalments may be agreed and recorded in the quotation. Overdue invoices are followed up with a reminder.

How a refund is made

Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of being agreed; if that method can no longer be used, we transfer the amount to a bank account you confirm to us in writing at hello@newsymph.net, without any fee. A service carried out as agreed is not refunded, and for work only partly done we refund the part not provided, less material or third-party costs agreed with you in advance.

Complaints and remedies

If you are not satisfied with our work, please describe the problem in writing to hello@newsymph.net within 14 days of the service being provided, so that we can look into it while the circumstances are still clear. We examine the case and propose a correction, a repeat of the service, a partial refund or another remedy that fits the situation.

Cancelling a distance contract

Consumers who conclude a contract with us at a distance or away from our business premises have a right to cancel it within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. A clear statement sent to hello@newsymph.net before that period ends is enough, and work you had already asked us to begin is then settled separately.
